Important Dates

Important dates for back to School

  • Student registration August 9th for both Middle School and High School

  • Open House for the High School and Middle School, August 17th, 5:30 – 6:30.

  • Middle School will meet in the auditorium and 
High School will meet in the library
  • Meet the ‘Bulldogs’, August 17th, 7:00 pm at the football stadium, Hot Dog supper provided by our friends at Atmos Energy.
  • Elementary Open House 5:30-7:00, August 21
  • First day of school – August 23rd.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION:

All Tahoka ISD campuses are doing both new and current student registrations. This is the first year doing online registration, so all students, including new students will have to do it on the scheduled times or at home.  New students will need birth certificates, social security card, shot record and parent's drivers license. Current students will not need anything at this time.     

Registration online may be done at home by going to the tahokaisd.us website and click on 'for Parents' and then 'Parent Portal' to fill out the paperwork. Also, there are instructions on how to do the registration online under tahokaisd.us.Click on 'Departments' then 'Counselor's Corner'. You will find two sets of instructions there. Registration forms that are done online at home need to be printed out and brought to the Counselor’s office or the elementary office anytime before school starts. 

            The following registration schedule is listed below. Students may pick up class schedules at the following times also. 

Tahoka Middle School: Aug. 8th - 8-10 a.m.- 6th grade; 10-12 noon- 7th grade; 1-3 p.m.

Tahoka High School: Aug. 9th – 8-10 a.m.- Freshmen; 10-12 noon- Sophomores; 1-3 p.m. – Juniors; and 3-5 p.m. –Seniors. 

           If  you have already done online registration, there will be no need to come, other than to pick up class schedules.
