Matt McClelland graduated from Tahoka High School in 2007. He went on to graduate from West Texas A&M University in 2011 and TCU in 2012 where he earned a degree in Ranch Management. He is the Assistant Manager at T-Bar Ranch. He is married to his wife Casey, and they have a son, Wilson, and 2 daughters, Marley and Madilyn. He is a volunteer fireman for Tahoka FD, President of the TCU Ranch Management Alumni Association, Ranching Heritage Association's Young Rancher Board Member, and Post Stampede Rodeo board member. His hobbies are supporting his kids in their extracurricular activities, skiing, hunting and ranch rodeos.

Drew Stone is a 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a degree in Exercise & Sport Sciences. He dedicated 10 years to public education, including 6 years at Tahoka ISD, where he served as an English teacher, Athletic Director, and Head Coach. Alongside his wife Shelly, Drew manages DS Stone Farms and is actively involved in the agriculture industry. The couple has three sons: Braden (married to Morgan), Bryson, and Brogan. Drew is an active member of our community, serving as a member of First Baptist Church Tahoka, the Tahoka Volunteer Fire Department, and the Farmers Coop Tahoka Gin Board. He also holds the position of Vice-President for the Tahoka ISD Board of Trustees. In his spare time, Drew enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his children in their athletic endeavors, and coaching youth sports.

Tamesha Harris-McClendon

Tamesha Harris-McClendon is a 1999 graduate of Tahoka High School, a proud mom of four (Katie, Amiya, Grayson, and Karter), and the wife of retired Army Vet Gary McClendon. After retirement, Tamesha and her husband decided to relocate back to Tahoka to raise their family in a familiar environment around family and friends. Tamesha’s hobbies include supporting her children in all their extracurricular activities as well as baking.

Jon Luna graduated from Tahoka High School in 2002. He attended Texas Tech University where he studied Business Management and Agricultural Economics. He is a Texas licensed insurance agent and has been for over a decade. Jon is the ambitious owner of two restaurants, Jolly Time in Tahoka and The Spot in New Home. In his spare time, Jon volunteers with Lynn County EMS. Being a lifelong resident of Tahoka, he takes enormous pride in his community.

Slate May graduated from Texas Tech University in 2004 with a degree in Agriculture Education. He taught Agriculture Sciences at Tahoka ISD for 6 years and is now the Member Services Advisor at Lyntegar Electric Cooperative Inc. He is married to his wife Kaci, and they have three daughters Sawyer, Sutton and Kreece. He is on the Tahoka Volunteer Fire Department, Lynn County Tax Appraisal Board, Tahoka Housing Authority Board and President of the Tahoka Stock Show Syndicate. He enjoys spending time with his family, raising livestock and attending livestock shows.

Lea Swinford is a 1993 graduate of Tahoka High School. She is married to Chad Swinford, and they have two daughters, Karlie and Kaycee. Their family of four are all proud Alumni of Tahoka High School. Lea has worked 25 years for Lyntegar Electric Cooperative and is the Billing Supervisor. Lea holds the position of Secretary for the Tahoka ISD Board of Trustees. She is also an active member of Sweet Steet Baptist church where she enjoys singing on the Worship Music team, helping with the children’s ministry, and was just appointed church secretary. Lea is also a member of TASO (formerly Tahoka Rotary) and has served on several other community organizations and boards. In her spare time Lea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending school activities, and supporting the students of Tahoka.

Carol Miller Board of Trustees

Carol Miller is a registered nurse and graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She has demonstrated her dedication, commitment, and love for Tahoka ISD, students, staff and parents while serving for 26 years as the school nurse. In addition she is currently serving on the Board of Trustees. She and her husband, Steve, have both been lifelong residents in the farming and ranching community. She and Steve along with their children, Chelsey and Cade are proud graduates of Tahoka high School. Carol is very active in attending activities of Tahoka students and family activities that involve her grandchildren.
